You’ve seen the headlines. You’ve heard the hype.
The Reject Shop is now part of global retail giant Dollarama, and we’re building something big.
2026 is set to be a huge year. Our store network is expanding, our customer experience is evolving, and we’re growing towards 700 stores. Behind the scenes, our Store Support Centre is laying the foundations for this transformation, and our People & Culture team is right at the centre of it.
We’re looking for a Workplace Relations Partner who’s ready to lead our advisory team, guide our leaders, and help shape the employee experience for a business that’s changing fast. If you’re confident managing complex ER matters, interpreting policy, and coaching others through change, this is your moment.
This role is based in our Kensington Store Support Centre and is a 15-month fixed term contract.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and developing P&C Advisors to deliver timely, practical advice.
- Supporting leaders through end-to-end ER case management – from performance and misconduct to investigations and grievances.
- Drafting documentation and coaching leaders to ensure fairness and consistency.
- Reporting on ER trends and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Reviewing ER policies and templates to keep us compliant and simple.
- Partnering on union matters and Enterprise Agreement compliance.
- Overseeing P&C reporting and administration.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in ER case management and advisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and ER frameworks.
- Ability to interpret and advise on Enterprise Agreements or awards.
- Leadership experience is highly desirable, along with strong coaching and influencing skills.
What we can offer you
- Inclusive and collaborative team culture.
- A flat, fast-paced business where every idea matters.
- Hybrid work model.
- Team Member discount of 15% for you and an immediate family member.
- Paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers.
- Employee Assistance Program – free and confidential support for you and your family.
This is more than a leadership role. It’s a chance to help shape the future of retail in Australia. You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on clarity, consistency, and supporting our leaders to lead.
