You’ve seen the headlines. You’ve heard the hype. The Reject Shop is now part of global retail leader Dollarama, and we’re preparing for a major transformation in 2026. With store conversions, a refreshed customer experience and plans to grow to 700 stores, we’re building strong teams now to lead the change.

As part of that journey, we’re looking for a hands-on Bench Store Manager to support multiple stores across the Western Sydney region. In this role, you’ll step in where you’re needed most — leading teams, stabilising performance, and ensuring a seamless customer and team experience. You’ll bring energy, purpose and a people-first mindset to every store you support, helping set foundations for long-term success.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Step into stores as required to provide strong, consistent leadership and maintain high operational standards

  • Lead from the front and create a high-energy, inclusive culture wherever you go

  • Be hands-on in your approach, supporting teams on the floor and setting the standard for service and execution

  • Drive store performance through strong operational execution and achieving sales targets

  • Champion customer service and ensure every customer walks away with a great experience

  • Develop and inspire team members across multiple stores to grow into confident, capable retail leaders

  • Ensure all stores operate in a safe, clean and supportive environment

  • Problem-solve day-to-day challenges with confidence and calm, adapting quickly to different teams and store needs

What you bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in a retail or customer-focused environment

  • A natural ability to motivate and influence — you get the best out of people, even in new teams

  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport

  • A passion for customer service, team development and operational excellence

  • Flexibility, resilience and a solutions-focused mindset — you thrive in fast-paced, changing environments

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary plus annual bonus (up to 10% of your salary)

  • Team Member discount for you and your immediate family

  • Work-life balance with a rotating roster — work only 1 in 3 weekends and flexible work options

  • Paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering free, confidential support for you and your family

  • Instant access to your pay with Humanforce Thrive

  • Be part of a supportive, inclusive and fun culture where your wellbeing matters

Ready to lead the change across our region? Apply now and be part of the journey.
