As we continue our growth journey in helping all Australians, we now have an opportunity for an experienced HR Leader to join our People and Culture team.

As our newly created – Business Partnering Lead role, you will lead and coach the Business Partnering team to ensure exceptional outcomes to all business units.  This role plays a pivotal role in collaborating with leaders in all business units to optimise the service function of ensuring recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and the overall employee experience provides best practice.

This exciting opportunity see’s you:

  • Ensure leaders are equipped and offer guidance to the team for effectively managing the employee life cycle, recruitment, learning and development, workforce planning, performance and remuneration management, employee engagement, employee relations, and organisational development.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of People and Culture business initiatives to drive and improve engagement levels
  • Influencing and coaching leaders to develop interpersonal and leadership skills in line with The Reject Shop core values
  • Recommending structural changes when necessary
  • Partnering with the Talent team to deliver on the talent strategy
  • Implementing workplace relations strategies to support the Business Strategy
  • Monitoring and advising on relevant changes to employment legislation
  • Ensuring effective outcomes of workplace relations, issues, and cases

 

What you can bring to the role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR/ER or related discipline is preferred
  • Experience in leading a team and driving consistency and high performance
  • The ability to translate complex technical or legal information into clear recommendations/advice
  • Experience in a similar role in a retail environment would be an advantage
  • Refined interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Commercial approach to decision making
