Work type: Full time

You’ve seen the headlines. You’ve heard the hype. The Reject Shop is now part of global retail giant Dollarama, and we’re building something big.

2026 is shaping up to be a defining year. Our store network is evolving, our customer experience is sharpening, and our transformation is accelerating. Behind every refreshed layout, every new store opening, and every upgraded fixture is a well-executed fit out — and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a hands-on Fit Out Project Manager to deliver individual retail store projects across our national footprint. This is a site-based, tactical role responsible for managing fit outs and refurbishments from end to end — ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time, and on budget.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the ground, enjoys working directly with trades and suppliers, and takes pride in delivering high-quality retail environments. If you bring strong construction knowledge and practical project discipline, this is your opportunity to shape the future look and feel of our stores.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering end-to-end fit out and refurbishment projects for individual retail stores across Australia.

  • Managing project budgets, timelines, forecasting, and capital workflows.

  • Coordinating suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Working on-site to oversee trades and ensure works are delivered to plan and standard.

  • Ensuring compliance with NCC, BCA, and all relevant construction and safety standards.

  • Using SAP to manage project documentation, purchasing, and spend tracking.

  • Providing clear, practical updates to senior leadership on project progress, risks, and outcomes.

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years’ experience delivering retail fit outs, refurbishments, or store conversions.

  • Strong construction knowledge across multiple disciplines (electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, architectural).

  • Experience working on-site and managing trades directly.

  • SAP experience (preferred).

  • Retail background preferred — ideally within rollout or conversion programs.

  • A practical, hands-on mindset with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

What we can offer you

  • The opportunity to deliver store projects for a major national retailer during a period of transformation and growth.

  • A steady pipeline of projects across our national footprint.

  • A supportive, down-to-earth team culture with room to grow.

  • Real ownership and impact — helping shape the in-store experience for millions of customers.

  • Competitive salary and benefits.

  • Team Member discount of 15% for you and an immediate family member.

  • Paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) — free and confidential support for you and your family.

This is more than a fit out role. It’s your chance to help build the next chapter of growth at The Reject Shop.
