Dollarama Australia operates The Reject Shop network and is undergoing a significant transformation following its acquisition by Dollarama. As part of this evolution, we are strengthening our national property capability and modernising our leasing frameworks to support an ambitious growth agenda.

About the Role

We are seeking a National Retail Lease Administrator to play a critical role in managing and negotiating lease documentation across our national portfolio. This is a high-volume, commercially focused position responsible for driving lease execution, maintaining national precedents, and supporting the delivery of one of the most active retail growth pipelines in Australia.

This is not a traditional lease administration role. It is a fast-paced, commercially aware position suited to a professional who thrives on volume, precision and accountability while supporting a national network expanding from approximately 400 to 700 stores over the coming years, alongside a major store conversion program.

Location: Melbourne Store Support Office

Hybrid working model – 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage national retail lease precedents, including establishment, review, continuous refinement and governance across the portfolio
  • Review, negotiate and finalise lease documentation for new stores, renewals, relocations, variations and conversion projects
  • Drive leasing transactions through to execution, ensuring documentation is accurate, commercially aligned and delivered within required timeframes
  • Operate at scale, supporting a high-volume national growth pipeline and large-scale store conversion program
  • Partner closely with Leasing,  Store Development and Finance to ensure seamless delivery of leasing outcomes
  • Ensure consistency and risk alignment across all lease documentation, supporting long-term portfolio performance
  • Provide commercial oversight on lease terms, balancing risk, governance and operational practicality while supporting deal progression
  • Track and manage critical lease milestones, proactively identifying risks, bottlenecks and opportunities to accelerate execution
  • Drive process discipline and efficiency as part of the ongoing transformation of the national property function
  • Contribute to building scalable systems, documentation and frameworks to support sustained national expansion

About You

  • Proven experience in retail lease administration, property law or commercial leasing within a national portfolio
  • Strong capability in reviewing and negotiating lease documentation and managing national precedents
  • Commercially astute with the ability to balance risk, governance and business outcomes
  • Comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confident communicator who can work effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Experience supporting large-scale retail portfolios or growth programs is highly regarded
