You’ve seen the headlines. You’ve heard the hype. The Reject Shop is now part of global retail giant Dollarama, and we’re building something big.
2026 is shaping up to be a defining year. Our store network is expanding, our customer experience is evolving, and we’re growing towards 700 stores. None of that happens without a high performing, energised, and supported team and that’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a People and Culture Business Partner to join our People & Culture team at the Store Support Centre and help shape the culture, capability, and engagement of our organisation. This role is all about partnering with leaders within our Store Support Centre (SSC) to support in delivering strategic people initiatives, strengthen organisational effectiveness, and create an environment where our team members can thrive.
If you’re passionate about culture, organisational development, and building experiences that make work better, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
- Partnering with SSC leaders to deliver key People & Culture strategies and people metrics including retention and engagement.
- Providing Employee Relations advice and supporting with end to end management of ER cases.
- Supporting organisational development initiatives, including culture building programs, engagement surveys, and action planning.
- Supporting with facilitation of leadership development programs such as masterclasses, workshops, and capability building initiatives.
- Analysing data and contributing insights that inform strategic decision making.
- Experience working as a People and Culture Business Partner or Senior People and Culture Advisor.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills — you know how to influence, partner, and bring people on the journey.
- A growth mindset and proactive approach — you take initiative, embrace challenges, and look for better ways of working.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Knowledge of organisational design, leadership development, and cultural transformation.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
- A purpose led People & Culture team shaping the future of a growing national retailer.
- The opportunity to influence culture, capability, and engagement at scale.
- Exposure to strategic workforce planning, leadership development, and organisational change.
- A role where your ideas matter — and where you can own it, do it, and see your impact across the business.
- Employee benefits including paid parental leave, wellbeing initiatives, and EAP support.
- A friendly, inclusive, and high energy environment where we celebrate wins and grow together.
This is more than a People & Culture role. It’s a chance to help build the culture, capability, and employee experience that will power the next chapter at The Reject Shop.
