You’ve seen the headlines. You’ve heard the hype. The Reject Shop is now part of global retail giant Dollarama, and we’re building something big.
2026 is shaping up to be a defining year. Our store network is expanding, our customer experience is evolving, and we’re growing towards 700 stores. Behind every store, every system, and every team member is a strong and secure technology foundation – and that’s where you come in.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our Technology team at the Store Support Centre. This is a hands-on, highly technical role leading our security operations, driving the execution of our global cyber strategy, and ensuring our environment stays secure as we scale.
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes cyber security, thrives in fast‑paced operational environments, and takes pride in staying one step ahead of threats. If you bring deep cyber experience, strong communication skills, and the discipline required to run a tight security operation, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading day‑to‑day cyber security operations across Australia, ensuring our environment is monitored, protected, and well‑defended.
- Monitoring and triaging security alerts across networks, endpoints, identities, applications, and cloud environments.
- Acting as the incident lead for cyber events — coordinating investigation, containment, remediation, and recovery.
- Executing the global cyber security strategy in partnership with our Canadian security team.
- Delivering and owning the Australian Cyber Awareness Program, including training and phishing simulations.
- Conducting threat assessments, vulnerability analysis, and proactive threat hunting activities.
- Implementing and optimising cyber security tools, platforms, and controls across the environment.
- Collaborating with Infrastructure, Applications, and other technology teams to ensure risks are understood and remediated.
- Supporting recruitment and leading the interview process as we build out the Cyber team.
What you’ll bring
- Strong background in security operations, incident response, and threat assessment.
- Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Microsoft tooling) and modern cyber toolsets.
- Experience implementing and running cyber security technologies (EDR, firewalls, cloud security, email security, etc.).
- A background in infrastructure is highly regarded.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capability, disciplined execution, and a calm, structured approach under pressure.
- Experience in distributed retail or logistics environments is an advantage.
What we can offer you
- The opportunity to safeguard a rapidly growing national retailer during a period of major transformation.
- A pivotal leadership role where your expertise directly influences the safety and resilience of the organisation.
- Collaboration with our Canadian Cyber teams and exposure to global security strategy.
- High‑volume, hands‑on security operations across a large and distributed network.
- A stable, in‑house role with purpose, impact, and long‑term opportunity.
- Employee benefits including paid parental leave, wellbeing initiatives, and EAP support.
- A professional, inclusive environment that values accountability, clarity, and getting the job done right.
This is more than a security role. It’s a chance to be a critical part of the team protecting the next chapter of growth at The Reject Shop.
