We’re looking for an experienced Network Lead to join our Technology team at the Store Support Centre. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for network reliability, security, and performance across our Australian environment, while guiding a growing team of network engineers and implementing our global network strategy.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading our Network team, providing guidance, support, and technical direction to engineers at different levels.
• Owning the reliability, stability, and performance of TRS’s network across all sites nationally.
• Ensuring network environments remain secure and aligned to operational, performance, and cyber expectations.
• Executing the global network strategy defined by Canada — or clearly articulating where local variations are needed.
• Remaining hands‑on and technical, contributing directly to troubleshooting, architecture uplift, and solution design.
• Designing, implementing, and optimising complex network solutions across a highly distributed retail environment.
• Working closely with engineers to deploy upgrades, remediate issues, and maintain best‑practice configuration.
• Collaborating with Infrastructure, Cyber, and broader Technology teams to ensure alignment and risk mitigation.

What you’ll bring

• 8–10 years of hands‑on networking experience, including 2–3 years in a Lead or Senior‑level leadership role.
• Deep expertise in Fortinet and strong capability with Cisco.
• Experience designing and implementing complex network solutions in a distributed or multi‑site environment.
• A background in retail, distribution, logistics, or any large, site‑heavy organisation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead, influence, and work effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.
• Experience working within a global organisation or executing strategy defined by an international head office (highly regarded but not mandatory).
• A calm, structured, and accountable leadership style — with a track record of lifting team capability.
