You’ve seen the headlines. You’ve heard the momentum. The Reject Shop is now part of global retail giant Dollarama — and we’re transforming our Supply Chain into a high‑performance, future‑ready network.
2026 is a pivotal year. Our volumes are increasing, our network is evolving, and our operational expectations are rising fast. To support our growth, we’re embedding new ways of working, standardising processes, and building a culture of Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence across our Distribution Centres and Supply Chain teams.
That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a hands‑on Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence Specialist to become the go‑to expert for our warehouses — the first call when teams need clarity, coaching, direction, or support to lift performance. If you’re driven by solving operational problems, improving processes, and empowering teams to hit their KPIs with confidence, this is your chance to make a major impact across a national retailer.
What you’ll be doing
- Be the first point of contact for warehouse teams needing guidance on processes, performance expectations, or how to hit their KPIs.
- Support DC Managers, Supervisors, and on‑floor team members with hands‑on coaching and operational troubleshooting.
- Act as the SME for Supply Chain Operations under the Dollarama model - the person who knows “how it should work” and can steer teams in the right direction.
- Diagnose inefficiencies through process mapping, time & motion studies, wait‑time and handoff analysis, and direct operational engagement.
- Draft, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support consistency and operational excellence.
- Facilitate CI initiatives and small‑to‑medium improvement projects that reduce waste, improve flow, and strengthen capability.
- Capture and track CI activities using agreed methodologies, turning insights into measurable outcomes.
- Deliver training and coaching sessions in Lean and CI tools, building capability and confidence across warehouse teams.
- Provide practical, real‑time feedback to leadership to help them plan, prioritise, and execute improvement activities.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and problem‑solving across the Supply Chain.
What you’ll bring
- Lean knowledge and experience (Lean Practitioner or similar).
- Experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or optimisation roles.
- Certifications such as Six Sigma or Green Belt (or equivalent knowledge).
- Hands‑on experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment.
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to verify, validate, and interpret operational data.
- A proactive, problem‑solving mindset — someone who sees issues early and moves fast to mitigate them.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coach, train, and influence at all levels.
- Comfort working in fast‑moving environments where priorities shift, pace is high, and accuracy matters.
- The ability to build trust, empower teams, and lead by example.
What we can offer you
- The opportunity to directly uplift operational performance across a national retailer.
- A role where your expertise becomes the standard — influencing process, culture, capability, and consistency.
- Hands‑on collaboration with DC teams, Supply Chain leadership, and cross‑functional business partners.
- The chance to build something meaningful as we embed the Dollarama operating model across the network.
- A supportive, knowledgeable team that values curiosity, continuous improvement, and practical problem‑solving.
- Employee benefits including paid parental leave, wellbeing initiatives, and EAP support.
- A professional, inclusive environment that values initiative, accountability, and making things simpler, faster, and better.
This is more than a CI role.
It’s your chance to help shape the future of our Supply Chain, uplift our operational capability, and ensure our network enables the growth ahead.
