New South Wales is one of the most significant divisions in our network. The State Manager is accountable for both the leadership and the performance of the state.

We are looking for a disciplined retail leader who balances people, performance, and pace. Someone who sets clear standards, builds capability, and drives accountability across their team.

The role

You will take full accountability for the leadership and performance of the NSW division. That means you will:

• Lead Regional Managers with clear expectations and strong routines
• Build leadership capability and strengthen performance across the state
• Drive disciplined retail standards across every store
• Own sales, EBIT, wages, shrink and safety outcomes for the state
• Interpret data and translate it into clear action plans
• Be present in stores, walking the floor and coaching in the moment
• Embed operational change while protecting day to day delivery
• Partner cross functionally to deliver consistent execution

What you bring

• Senior multi-site retail leadership experience at scale
• Background in big box, value or high-volume retail environments preferred
• Proven ability to lift performance across complex portfolios
• Strong operational discipline across cost, shrink, safety and wages
• Commercial sharpness and confidence working from data
• The maturity to influence broadly while holding clear standards
