With an expanding store network and exciting growth plans ahead, we're looking for a Distribution Centre Team Leader to help keep our operations moving safely, efficiently, and accurately.

Based in our Distribution Centre in Ipswich, you'll lead a team responsible for receiving, processing, and despatching stock to stores across our network. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive productivity, champion safety, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure our stores receive the right stock at the right time.

What you'll be doing

• Leading, coaching, and supporting a team of Distribution Centre Team Members
• Managing daily receiving, processing, and despatch activities in line with stock flow plans
• Ensuring stores receive stock accurately and on time
• Promoting a strong safety-first culture and maintaining compliance with all health and safety requirements
• Identifying, reporting, and managing workplace hazards, incidents, and corrective actions
• Driving team productivity and performance against operational targets
• Supporting training and development across the team, including materials handling equipment (MHE) operation
• Maintaining inventory accuracy through quality control processes and cycle counting activities
• Monitoring operational performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Supporting return-to-work programs and fostering a positive team environment

What you'll bring

• Experience leading teams within a distribution centre, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock movement, and inventory control
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
• Experience driving productivity and achieving operational KPIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Excellent communication and people leadership capabilities
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
• High attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
• The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
