With an expanding store network and exciting growth plans ahead, we're looking for a Distribution Centre Team Leader to help keep our operations moving safely, efficiently, and accurately.
Based in our Distribution Centre in Ipswich, you'll lead a team responsible for receiving, processing, and despatching stock to stores across our network. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive productivity, champion safety, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure our stores receive the right stock at the right time.

What you'll be doing
- Leading, coaching, and supporting a team of Distribution Centre Team Members
- Managing daily receiving, processing, and despatch activities in line with stock flow plans
- Ensuring stores receive stock accurately and on time
- Promoting a strong safety-first culture and maintaining compliance with all health and safety requirements
- Identifying, reporting, and managing workplace hazards, incidents, and corrective actions
- Driving team productivity and performance against operational targets
- Supporting training and development across the team, including materials handling equipment (MHE) operation
- Maintaining inventory accuracy through quality control processes and cycle counting activities
- Monitoring operational performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Supporting return-to-work programs and fostering a positive team environment
What you'll bring
- Experience leading teams within a distribution centre, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock movement, and inventory control
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
- Experience driving productivity and achieving operational KPIs
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Excellent communication and people leadership capabilities
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
- High attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
- The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
